Choice…

June 16, 2020
Life is about choice. So do your choices line up with your goals?

Social interactions are important but how we deal with parties and gatherings will have a marked impact on our goals around weight management. On one hand, we know that friendships can be paramount to our mental health and are a strong indicator of lifespan. But it can be a negative if all of our interactions are celebrations filled with booze and high calorie foods.

So if you are one that can’t control your behaviors in social situations, it might be necessary to control the frequency. At least if you are concerned about weight management.

There is no right or wrong choice as long as you act with intent. As long as you understand the potential results of your actions and accept them you can be happy with whatever decision you make. However, if you expect outcomes that don’t jibe with your behaviors you will be doomed to disappointment. And that’s not fair to you. So choose well.
