Is what you want what you need?

September 15, 2020
We often talk about what we want in life but is it always what we need?

We tend to spend so much effort chasing more. More money, more things, more workouts, more fat loss, more kids activities. More, more, more. But how often does more mean better?

Sometimes the best addition is subtraction. Sometimes the most growth comes from less. Sometimes we have to forego what we want for what we need.

Find the big rocks. Find what’s essential and double down. More isn’t better. More is just more. In the words of Neil Gaiman, “make good art”.
