Doing the best we can

the best we can

“We are all doing the best we can. And we can do better” -Marsha Linehan

Life is struggle. Every day, regardless of our situation, we are doing the absolute best we can in that moment. We face physical and psychological barriers to overcome. Yet instead of being overwhelmed, we have the opportunity to grow.

Better is a gradient. We just want to approach things each day with a new lens, a better lens. What is better today will become our new normal tomorrow. In a month or 3 or 6 we have the potential of reinvention.

So practice acceptance today. And continue to do the best you can. And tomorrow, do better.
