Stop shaming yourself into “shape”

June 9, 2023
You’ll never exercise more doing workouts you despise. You can’t improve your relationship with food as long as it’s the enemy. And nobody has ever hated themselves into better body image.

Do you feel like everything’s a battle? Like every step you take is uphill dragging through the mud? Nothing feels “right”?

We can only fight for so long. Fighting is hard. Especially when it’s against the very things we are trying to improve.

Stop making adversaries of exercise and food and your body. Instead make peace. Make friends. Create partnerships. Because you are all after the same thing.

But ironically, if you keep fighting against yourself, you’ll never win. The only way to win is to make your enemies allies.
