The Concept of Wholeness: You Were Never Broken

January 2, 2025

There’s a myth in the wellness world that you have to “fix” yourself.

Lose the weight. Fix your cravings. Heal your past. Get “better.”

But what if you were never broken to begin with?

The idea of “wholeness” isn’t about fixing flaws. It’s about seeing yourself as complete, right now, even while you work toward growth. You’re allowed to be a work in progress and still be worthy.

Here’s a thought experiment:

• What if nothing about you was broken?

• What if every part of you, even the messy parts, had a purpose?

This doesn’t mean you can’t change. It means you’re starting from a place of wholeness, not deficiency. It means you can work on habits, heal old wounds, and shift behaviors while knowing you were never unworthy to begin with.

Wholeness isn’t something you achieve. It’s something you remember.
