There are no hacks to true change

June 17, 2020
We all have a desire to reach our goals. But instead of taking the steps to get yourself closer, are you just moving the goalposts?

Hacks, tricks and short cuts have become the vernacular to describe how so many of us approach goal acquisition. Instead of developing strong practices and habits over time we look for a way to avoid the process and jump to the outcome.

There’s no way to run a mile by only going halfway. There’s no way to earn a black belt overnight. And you sure as shit aren’t gonna make sustainable life changes in a few weeks. It’s gonna take work.

So stop moving the goal posts. Stop trying to shortcut your way to the finish line. Stop selling yourself short by focusing on the end. And start working on the things that can make change last.
