Trust is earned

Trust. It’s earned.

A situation I see again and again is in those who attempt to control their lives and food intake through restrictive diets and food rules. And invariably, this backfires. Be it in the form of cyclical (yo-yo) dieting or binge-like behaviors. Yet they struggle to try other avenues because they don’t trust themselves to make the “right” choice.

We can earn that trust. We can learn to feel comfortable in our decision making process. But that will also require taking small risks and learning to overcome obstacles.

Finally seeing your values and goals align is freeing and just feels good. But you’ll have to trust yourself to get there.
