Food is so much more

January 14, 2021

So much more than fuel. So much more than a collection of numbers. So much more than just a means to an end.

Food is culture. Food is religion. Food is how we celebrate life. Food is how we mourn death.

Until we embrace all that food is, all that food does for us, we can never hope to “manage” it. Food is emotional, it is cerebral, and it is physical. It influences all that we are as humans. Being afraid of it is like being afraid of ourselves. And that’s not a path to growth for anyone.
